Now select this image and go to the Object menu of the menu bar, then click on the ‘Ungroup’ option of the drop-down list. Click on Apply button, and you can see it is the most accurate tracing of this image for converting it into a vector format. #Inkscape logo transparent background updateWhite areas of the texture had no effect on the logo. In this video Mike takes the transparent logo from the previous video and adapts it. Now click on the Update button, and it will give you traced colored image preview. If you look closely, you’ll see that the black areas from the texture were subtracted from the Inkscape logo. ![]() It’s important that both objects are selected, and it’s also important that the texture is layered on top of the object, otherwise it won’t work. The masking feature uses the top object as the mask. Make sure that the texture is placed on top of the object and not beneath it. To see this in action, select both objects (the texture and the object you’re applying it to,) bring the opacity back up to 100%, then go to Object -> Mask -> Set. Seize every opportunity that makes your business impress in the hearts of your audience. This works for gradients and other shades as well - darker shades become more transparent the darker they get, and lighter shades have less of an effect the lighter they get. Remove Logo Background in 3 Seconds Remove white background from the image for the logo in a few seconds, so that your logo can be easily used for business cards, PPT files, flyers, advertisements, etc. I chose it to only export the page so it doesn't include any of the rubbish off to the side that I don't want included in my file. However, the transparent background is the default when you export: File -> Export Bitmap -> Export. Name your file as desired and click Export. Just using save as -> png does not apply the transparent background. The white areas of the texture will have no effect on the object. How do you make a full background transparent Select the picture that you want to create transparent areas in. After youve created your vector logo, click File > Export > PNG. Once we apply the masking feature, Inkscape will take the black areas of the texture and make them transparent on the object. ![]()
